JAKARTA - The Java Jazz Festival (JJF) 2025 was completed last weekend. This event presents hundreds of performers and tens of thousands of spectators for three days at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on May 30 - June 1.
As in previous years, MLDSPOT is back with its own charm. Starting from Stage Bus to activation area provides a fresh experience as well as festival celebrations that combine music, creativity, and interactive technology. MLDSPOT representative Nathaniel Widhiyanto Utomo said involvement at the Java Jazz Festival from year to year is a form of support for the sustainability of jazz music, both at the local and international levels.

Looking back at what was presented during the 2025 JJF event, MLDJAZPROJECT managed to entertain visitors. Windy (vocals), Yosua Sondakh (guitar), Ekky (bass), Yosua Hutagalung (piano), Erickgiri (saxophone), and Karel William (drums) performed several hits with fresh, full of exploration arrangements, and presented new colors in contemporary jazz worlds.
Despite the brief preparation, Windy cs was able to amaze hundreds of viewers with their exciting and memorable appearance. The audience sang with Windy on the stage not that far away.
"Actually, we have been preparing the song list for a long time, because we were only able to meet twice for arrangements and practice before the stage," said Windy. But we are trying to show the best performances, and it turns out that the audience response tonight is also extraordinary.
Karel replied, "Our chemistry is arguably strong. We often communicate and play together, so we understand each other better. For example, on stage, I saw Erick when he played a saxophone, then I just blinked, he already knew what he was doing."
On the MLDSPOT HAL stage, well-known musicians also enlivened the JJF 2025 stage, they are Nyoman Paul, Jessie Gold, The Philharmonic, Wijaya 80, Bilal Indrajaya, Nonaria x Horns Star Big Band, Adikara, The Yussef Days Experience, New Chaseiro (Albert Fakdawer, Rega Dauna, Kavin Sulthan, Rafi Sudirman), Lettuce, and UMI.
While at the MLDSPOT Stage Bus, there were Societeit de Harmonie, Gusti Irwan Wibowo, Delam, Und Bodevan, Adrian Khalif, Matter Halo, Rio Clappy, Daun Jatuh, Sore, and Kenny Gabriel Glassroom Jams.
"This Stage Bus is indeed very iconic and we always carry this stage everywhere during festival events or music concerts like this," said Nathan. This stage makes the audience more chill and feels close to their favorite musicians.
On Stage Bus, a live podcast was also presented attended by Natasya Elvira and Arya Nara, as well as Oza Rangkuti, Apos Hutagaol, and Aisha Lahtiba. The podcast theme discussed is about how to communicate today's young generation through song lyrics that are believed to be a "code".
In addition, there is a booth with an art and audio installation integer, red and aesthetics called the MLDSPOT Art & Sound Fresh-sphere-ience. The concept is inspired by The Sphere in Las Vegas. This Booth also succeeded in getting visitors to stop by and try activities that were different from other booths.
Karaoke & DJ performance is also present at this booth. Visitors can choose favorite songs, sing together, and dance excitingly with DJs whose vibes are fun. Fresh Bars that serve drinks and custom T-shirt activities are also present as an addition.
