JAKARTA - The government continues to accelerate the completion of various obstacles to business and investment in the country. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, revealed that the Debottlenecking Task Force has successfully resolved 124 out of a total of 170 complaints of operational obstacles submitted by companies.

Airlangga emphasized that the formation of the Debottlenecking Task Force was directly aimed at assisting business actors in overcoming bureaucratic and operational obstacles, so that the business climate could run more productively and support sustainable economic growth.

"For the government to encourage companies to run well, the government has a Debottlenecking Task Force. There are 170 complaints and 124 complaints have been resolved," said Airlangga when attending the 2026 Indonesian Issuers Association (AEI) Member Meeting in Jakarta, Tuesday.

Quick Solution for Ministries and Agencies

The Coordinating Minister for the Economy appealed to all companies or issuers who are still facing operational bottlenecks to take advantage of this complaint facility. The framework of the Task Force is designed to integrate coordination between ministries and agencies to provide quick and targeted solutions.

"So if there are companies that face problems, please enter the Task Force (Debottlenecking) because this is a few solving the problem directly carried out by the government," said Airlangga.

In addition to regulatory encouragement, Airlangga advised issuers on the exchange to consistently implement the three main pillars of business sustainability:

Maintaining Performance: Ensuring operational efficiency and business competitiveness. Strengthening Corporate Governance (Good Corporate Governance): Maintaining accountability and transparency to increase investor confidence. Capital Market Optimization: Make the most of the stock exchange as an instrument for financing business expansion and strengthening the capital structure.

"The government certainly sees this capital market as a window of the national economy," said Airlangga.

Reach Global Investors Through the Synergy of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Efforts to accelerate investment facilitation (debottlenecking) have also been expanded to an international scale. Previously, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa had introduced the Government Strategic Program Acceleration Task Force (Satgas P2SP) to global investors.

Although the Debottlenecking Task Force for domestic companies has been operating since December 2025, the government considers it important to promote this complaint channel massively to the world market.

To ensure ease of access for foreign investors, the Ministry of Finance collaborates with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the network of Indonesian embassies around the world.

"Cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is very important to disseminate this to our embassies around the world, so that investors who want to enter here know where to go if they encounter obstacles when doing business here," said Purbaya.
