Free Nutrition Eating Begins, Deputy Minister Of Social Affairs Orders Students To Be More Active In Learning

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Social Affairs (Wamensos) Agus Jabo advised students who today feel the benefits of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program in schools to be more diligent in learning as a form of awareness of loving the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

"So with this food starting tomorrow, children must be much more active in learning to be ready to bring Indonesia forward and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia to become a just prosperous country," Agus said while reviewing the implementation of the MBG program at SD-SMP 1 Barunawati, Palmerah, Jakarta, Monday, January 6, which was confiscated by Antara.

Agus revealed that the MBG will be held in stages, and today there are a total of 26 provinces that have started implementing the MBG program simultaneously with the target being students ranging from early childhood to junior high school, and high school.

The Ministry of Social Affairs also dispatched a team to ensure that the distribution of MBG in each province took place in a safe and smooth manner.

"We conclude that today the children are very enthusiastic, happy, happy, children thank the government today very historic because MBG has officially started," he said.

He assessed that the MBG program does not only provide food in a simple but much larger perspective, namely as an investment to produce a great young generation and excel in welcoming Indonesia Gold 2045.

For this reason, his party hopes that all parties, starting from the government, business actors, the community, parents can be actively involved in the success of the MBG implementation so that it can achieve the government's target to reach 3 million beneficiary communities by the end of January 2025.
