Commotion At TMII During The New Year, Security Who Becomes Victims Of Traders

Public Relations of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) Novera Mayang Sari denied any incidents of beatings related to security against traders in the TMII area during New Year's Eve celebrations.

"Regarding the news circulating, we convey that this information does not describe the actual incident," said Mayang when contacted by VOI, Thursday, January 2, 2025, afternoon.

Mayang said that security security forces, who were also injured in connection with the incident, immediately made a police report.

"Our security personnel who are victims have made a complaint report to the police on the same day," he said.

"Currently we are waiting for follow-up from the police. For more information, we can contact the Cipayung Police," he added.

Meanwhile, when confirmed, Cipayung Police Chief, Kompol Dwi Susanto said that until now his party had not received a report letter from the victim.

"There has been no report at the Sector Police," he said briefly when confirmed by VOI.

Previously, it was reported that a street vendor (PKL) was beaten by a number of security guards at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in the elevation parking area of TMII, Cipayung, East Jakarta on New Year's Eve Tuesday, December 31.

The victim with the initials DM was battered all over his body due to being beaten by security.
