Drone Show On The Musi River Shows 12 Icons Of Palembang City

JAKARTA - A drone show over the skies of the Musi river, Ampera Bridge features 12 icons of Palembang City, South Sumatra (Sumsel) at the 2025 New Year's Eve turnover event.

Director of Drone ShowIndo Fadel Yasrawi after the operation of the drone in Palembang, Wednesday, said that there were 12 formations of the Palembang City icon from the drone displayed.

The 12 icons are Ampera Bridge, Palembang City Government logo, Pempek, fives house, Tugu Belido, Lawang Borotan, bidar, songket motif, tanjak, Monpera, lafaz Allah, lafaz Muhammad who symbolizes Palembang as also Darusalam City.

According to him, the drone show in Palembang is special because it is the first time on the island of Sumatra. In fact, his party also flew one of the imported drones to coincide with this activity.

"We hope to show the drone again in Palembang, this is the first on the island of Sumatra, we show 12 formations for the Palembang icon," he said.

Acting Mayor of Palembang Cheka Virgowansyah said the drone show took place in line with expectations to make Palembang residents happy.

"The enthusiasm of the residents for watching this drone is very high, hopefully it can make the residents of Palembang City happy, and let's take care of our city of pride together," he said.
