Acting Governor Invites Jakarta Residents To Welcome 2025 Optimistically

JAKARTA - Acting (Pj.) DKI Jakarta Provincial Governor Teguh Setyabudi invited residents to welcome 2025 with optimism considering that this year is predicted to be full of blessings and kindness.

"Let's be both muhasabah and Zikir to welcome 2025. Hopefully it will bring goodness to all of us," Teguh said at the evening of muhasabah, remembrance, and prayer together to welcome the New Year 2025, at the West Cross Monas, Jakarta, on Monday (30/12) night as reported by ANTARA.

Meanwhile, Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar who was present at the event said that this joint muhasabah activity could be a forum in correcting all mistakes that had been made and received forgiveness from Allah SWT.

Therefore, in welcoming the New Year 2025, all audiences have new energy full of blessings.

"Hopefully DKI Jakarta will be more victorious day by day. Soon, we will commemorate 500 years in Jakarta. We want not only Jakarta, but also its people to be more pious and pious, and its officials are trustworthy to carry out their duties. We pray that next year it will be brighter, especially for all citizens of Jakarta," said Nazarudin Umar.

In addition, the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Provincial House of Representatives (DPRD) Khoirudin also appreciated the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government for initiating the Night of the Muhasabah.

According to him, this activity is a very positive thing in inviting Jakarta residents to always be optimistic about welcoming the new year.

"Apresiasi kepada Pemprov DKI Jakarta karena telah menginisiasi untuk menyelenggarakan Malam Muhasabah ini. Mudah-mudahan, kita semua dapat semakin baik, semakin sebesil. Minta doa agar Jakarta, yang sudah ditetapkan dalam Undang-Undang No. 2 Tahun 2024 tidak lagi menjadi Ibu Kota Negara, kita masih menunggu Keppres (Keputusan Presiden), dapat semakin sejahter, sembako semakin murah, dan akses kesehatan semakin mudah diteri seluruh warga," ujar Khoirudin.
