Iptu Zul said the alleged perpetrator was a resident of Alue Dua Village, Stepan District, North Aceh Regency. The perpetrator was first arrested by the security forces at Suzuya Lhokseumawe Mall on Friday, December 27 before being handed over to the police.
"The person concerned is suspected of circulating counterfeit notes of Rp. 100,000 when transacting at several outlets at Suzuya Mall," he said.
