JAKARTA - Mosque administrators in Jakarta can now take advantage of banking transaction services through the JakOne Abank Mosque program managed by Bank DKI. This program uses Mobile Point of Sales (MPOS) devices, allowing mosque managers to provide banking services without an office.
Director of Retail and Sharia of Bank DKI, Henky Oktavianus, said that the JakOne Abank Mosque program aims to empower mosques as centers of sharia-based economic activities in the community.
The JakOne Abank Mosque agency is a partnership between Bank DKI and mosque managers in Jakarta, which facilitates officeless banking services with the support of MPOS devices.
"Bank DKI is working with the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) to encourage the financial management of mosques in Jakarta through the JakOne Abank Mosque agency program," said Henky in Jakarta, Friday, December 20.
Henky explained that apart from being a place of worship, the mosque also acts as a forum for developing the people's economy in their respective regions.
"The mosque has a very strategic role not only as a place of worship, but also as a center for fostering the people, education, and economic empowerment," he added.
The JakOne Abank Mosque program offers various digital banking services, such as cash deposits, payment of various billers, and professional, real-time and safe mosque financial management.
