JAKARTA - The opening ceremony of the Nahdlatul Ulama Fatayat Grand Conference in Jakarta, Friday, was filled with laughter when Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka received a complaint from the organization cadre for greeting him as a woman.
Since the beginning of giving a speech, Vice President Gibran has greeted the cadres as Fatayat NU women.

The mother's greeting was complained by the Fatayat NU cadres who wanted the Vice President to greet the cadres as friends.
"Good morning friends. Friends," said the vice president with a smile.
The cadres also asked the Vice President to repeat their greeting. "Yes, good morning, friends," said the Vice President to laughter from the cadres.
Gibran conveyed his warm greetings from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, to the cadres and thanked Fatayat NU, who from the beginning until the point of view is still accompanying President Prabowo and himself.
The vice president then forgot to greet the Fatayat NU cadre as a friend.
"Thank you very much to the ladies and gentlemen, friends of Fatayat NU. The last time we met was during yesterday's campaign," said Gibran
The vice president then asked who the Fatayat cadres were present at the location from the farthest area.
The event was attended by representatives of Fatayat NU cadres from various regions, including Merauke, Papua, to Manokwari. There are also cadres from abroad who take part in online events, from Turkey and Egypt.
"This is the dedication of mothers (extraordinary)," said Gibran.
Because she was felt to continue repeating her greeting, the cadres again complained to Vice President Gibran and asked to be greeted as friends.

Gibran said 16 women in the Red and White Cabinet, including serving as ministers, deputy ministers, and the Presidential Special Envoy.
