Ridwan Kamil-Suswono Cancels Claims To The Constitutional Court, PSI Congratulates Pram-Rano Winning The Jakarta Regional Election

JAKARTA - The candidate pair for governor and deputy governor of Jakarta number 01, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) canceled filing a lawsuit against the results of the Jakarta Pilkada to the Constitutional Court (MK). That way, the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Pram-Doel) pair can be declared to have won one round of the Jakarta Pilkada.

The DPW of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) of DKI Jakarta also congratulated the candidate pair of Governors and Deputy Governors number 03, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, who was appointed by the KPU as the candidate pair with the highest votes in the 2024 Pilkada.

"PSI Jakarta congratulates the Pramono-Rano candidate pair who is declared by the KPU to have the highest votes and will be the Governor and Deputy Governor of Jakarta," said Chairman of the DKI Jakarta PSI DPW, Elva Farhi Qolbina, Thursday, December 12.

Elva emphasized that PSI Jakarta will remain a critical and constructive party to the government through the PSI faction in the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

"It has become our commitment and breath from the start, whether it is Mr. RK or Mr. Pram, PSI Jakarta post-Pilgub will remain a critical faction of the executive because PSI wants the Jakarta APBD to be used as well as possible for the benefit of the community," said Elva.

Elva also expressed his appreciation to the Indonesian TKD for fighting together during the gubernatorial election contestation.

"PSI Jakarta is proud of Pak Ridwan Kamil-Suswono's struggle and all Indonesian migrant workers in Jakarta during the previous campaign period. Efforts have been maximized, now when thinking about Jakarta post-Pilgub," concluded Elva.

It is known that the KPU has announced the results of the Jakarta Pilkada. In the recapitulation results, the Pramono-Rano pair pocketed 2,183,239 valid votes in the Jakarta Pilkada.

In the second position is occupied by the Ridwan Kamil - Suswono pair with a valid vote achievement of 1,718,160. Finally, there is the Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana pair with 459,230 votes.
