Looking Back At Mario Dandy's Obscenity Case Against Ex-Girlfriend

The convict in the alleged abuse case, Mario Dandy Satriyo, is back in court. This time, related to the alleged molestation case against his ex-girlfriend with the initials AG.

Looking back, the alleged sexual abuse was originally due to a case of abuse against David Ozora. At that time, AG through his attorney, Mangata Toding Allo, reported the allegation to the Polda Metro Jaya. However, the report was rejected twice.

The first rejection was due to reports related to allegations of sexual abuse that victims and their families had to do it directly.

Meanwhile, the second reporting was rejected on the grounds that it had to include a post-mortem as preliminary evidence.

"Now on the grounds that it is necessary to carry out a post-mortem on the reporter first, and because the reporter is at the detention center, the Jakarta Metro Police SPKT picket officer needs to wait for his boss's return from his assignment on Monday, May 8, 2023, to conduct a police report again against MDS," said Mangata, Friday, May 5, 2023.

Until finally, all the requirements were met and Mario Dandy's alleged sexual abuse report was accepted. The report was registered with the number LP/B/2445/V/2023/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya, dated May 8.

"Reporting sexual abuse against children is clearly a criminal act. So anyone who has good sexual intercourse or is forced is a criminal act. It has been regulated in our law. Even in other countries it has also been enforced, called in English, Statutory rape," he said.

Along with the investigation and investigation process, the Sub-Directorate of Renakta of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police who handled the case decided to conduct a case title.

Brigadier General Hengki Haryadi, who at that time served as Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, said that the results of the case title decided to establish Mario Dandy as a suspect.

"Yes, we have (Mario Dandy is a suspect)," said Hengki.

The determination of the suspect is expected by Mario Dandy based on sufficient evidence, one of which is digital evidence.

Then, from the results of the case title, the actions of Rafael Alun Trisambodo's son are considered to fulfill the criminal element.

"Then yesterday the results of the case title, the investigative team stated that this had indeed occurred whether there had been a offense or a criminal act of obscenity as suspected," said Hengki.

The case also rolled into court. The plan is that a trial will be held by the South Jakarta District Court today.

"Yes, that's right, today there is a trial of the sexual abuse case on behalf of the defendant Mario Dandy," said Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court, Djuyamto.

The trial of the sexual abuse case, said Djuyamto, will be held behind closed doors. This means that only court instruments such as the panel of judges, defendants, public prosecutors, and legal advisors are allowed into the courtroom

"However, the trial was held behind closed doors because it involved moral matters," said Djuyamto.

In this case, Mario Dandy is suspected of violating Article 76D in conjunction with Article 81 of the Child Protection Law and or Article 76 E in conjunction with Article 82 of the Child Protection Law.
