JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is looking for the involvement of other parties in the corruption case of the business cooperation process (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry. This step was taken by examining three witnesses on Thursday, December 5.

"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters in a written statement, Friday, December 6.

The three witnesses who were worked on were M. Islamudin who is a former VP Management Asset; Evi Dwijayanti as an Accounting VP; and Aldo Yohanes Mumuh who is a VP of Finance.

"The witnesses are all present," said Tessa.

Tessa said there were some material that investigators studied in the examination. In addition to looking for actions that caused state losses in the business process, the involvement of other parties was also investigated.

As for this case, there have been four suspects who have been named but have not been officially announced by the anti-corruption commission. They are the President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Ira Puspadewi; Harry MAC as the planning and development director; Yusuf Hadi who is the director of commercial and service; and Adjie who is the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara.

"Investigation is still related to unlawful acts that result in state financial losses and there are other parties who need to be held accountable together with ASDP directors," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating cases of corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). It is suspected that there has been a state loss which allegedly reached Rp1.27 trillion and is still changing because the calculation continues.

A VOI source said this loss arose because the acquisition process for PT Jembatan Nusantara did not comply with the regulations. Reporting from a number of reports, PT ASDP purchased PT Jembatan Nusantara in February 2022 with a value of IDR 1.3 trillion.

This state-owned company then controlled 100 percent of PT Jembatan Nusantara shares with 53 ships under management. "The process (in carrying out business cooperation and acquisition, ed) has no legal basis," he said.

"So all acquisition rules are violated," is still quoted from the same source.

In this case, the anti-corruption commission has confiscated 15 land and building assets from the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara, Adjie. The value reaches hundreds of billions of rupiah and is in the Pondok Indah, Menteng, Bogor City, and Surabaya City areas.
