KPUD Members And Head Of Bungo Regency Bawaslu Reported To DKPP, This Is The Reason

JAMBI - Members of the Regional General Election Commission (KPUD) and the Chairman of the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) of Bungo Regency, Jambi Province were reported to the Jambi Province Bawaslu and the Election Organizer Honorary Council (DKPP) by the legal team of the regent pair number 01.

Spokesperson for the Legal Team for the Regent's Pair Number 1, Paisal, stated that three people were reported by his party to Bawaslu Jambi and DKPP. The three are members of the KPUD Sri Hartati, Chairman of Bawaslu Bungo Regency, Ahmadi and members of the KPUD Herik Parnando.

"The three of them we report because they are not professional and transparent in carrying out their duties to guard the Pilkada of Bungo Regency. The KPU and Bawaslu seem inconsistent and slow in processing a number of reports of violations committed by KPPS members from voting to calculating. Even though the time given to resolve the election dispute is very short," Paisal told reporters, Wednesday, December 4.

The Dedy-Dayat legal team also stated that it had pocketed a number of evidences regarding the lack of transparency in the implementation of the regional elections and there was a number of evidences of the alignment of PPS in the Bungo Regent election.

Previously, continued Paisal, the Legal and Advocacy team for the candidate pair for Regent and Deputy Regent Bungo Dedy Dayat had also accompanied the public to report alleged fraud in the 2024 Bungo Pilkada to the Bungo Regency Bawaslu.

The report was submitted on Friday (29/11/2024). In fact, his party has included a number of evidences of alleged fraud that are structured, systematic, and massive (TSM). Some of the alleged frauds reported are video evidence showing a man suspected of being a KPPS officer at TPS 06, Cadika Village, Central Rimbo District who is voting for Paslon number 2 on a pile of ballot paper, "he said.

Paisal also said that his party had evidence that the Chairman of the KPPS allegedly directed voters to vote for candidate pair number 2 and ballot boxes found in an unequipped condition during the plenary session in the District of Bathin II Babeko. "We have asked Bawaslu to immediately follow up on this report. If proven, legal steps must be taken immediately in accordance with applicable regulations," said Paisal.

At that time, continued Paisal, a member of Bungo Bawaslu, Mardiwi only stated that his party had received all reports according to procedures and would review the evidence of the report, but until now there has been no recommendation whatsoever.
