Yusuf Chudlori asks for the polemic between Gus Miftah and the ice seller to be resolved

MAGELANG - Chairman of the Central Java PKB DPW Muhammad Yusuf Chudlori (Gus Yusuf) explained that Gus Miftah was just joking about the viral video of tea ice sellers. According to him, Gus Miftah often buys ice sellers' baskets during recitation events.

"Yes, it's a normal joke, after all, Gus Miftah also often buys ice baskets like that. Nominates for snacks to have congregation. I hope this polemic is over," he said in Magelang, Wednesday, December 4.

Gus Yusuf asked the public to see the full video. He also invited the public to participate directly in the recitation with Gus Miftah in order to find out his closeness to his congregation.

"So please don't cut the video, or once in a while come to the assembly so that you can fully see Gus Miftah's closeness to the congregation," he added.

Gus Yusuf explained that the complete context of the viral video is that the ice seller offers ice when it rains, thus disrupting the concentration of the congregation. "Then Gus Miftah was reprimanded. To move aside a bit like other traders," he said.

Meanwhile, Sunhaji who was met at his house admitted that Gus Miftah had arrived at his residence in Gesari Hamlet, Banyusari Village, Grabag District, Magelang Regency, Central Java. On that occasion Gus Miftah had apologized and he had forgiven the incident.

Due to the viral incident, one of Sunhaji's brothers, Juwarti (41) who lives next door admitted that she knew about the viral video from her neighbor. For this incident, he said he was happy because many were helping (donating) and moved.

According to him, Sunhaji has a good personality, is polite, and humble and honest. "Many neighbors come and wish Sunhaji the best," he said.

Juwarti revealed that previously Sunhaji worked in glondong. However, while working there was an accident that resulted in an injury to his arm. Due to this injury Sunhaji immediately worked as a mobile tea ice seller.

"After the injury, he immediately did not work in the company and moved to sell ice, until now," he concluded regarding the viral video of Gus Miftah.
