Ministry Of Transportation Forms 3 Free Homecoming Programs During Christmas And New Year 2025 Holidays

JAKARTA - Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Dudy Purwagandhi formed three free homecoming programs during the Christmas and New Year 2025 holidays. Dudy conveyed the three programs in a meeting with Commission V of the DPR at the MPR/DPR/DPD RI building, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, December 4.

Dudy explained that the free Nataru homecoming program was organized by 3 Directorate General, namely the Directorate General of Land Transportation, the Directorate General of Railways, and the Directorate General of Sea Transportation.

Later, said Dudy, the free homecoming program will carry a total of 38,772 passengers. Meanwhile, the number of motorcycles transported by train is 2,320.

"The Ministry of Transportation provides 3 free homecoming programs during the Nataru 2024/2025 period. With a total capacity of 38,772 passengers and 2,320 motorbikes," said Dudy in the DPR Commission V meeting room.

Through the land route, Dudy said, there were 11 trips to homecoming from Jakarta to the destination city. Namely Solo, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Wonosobo, Semarang, Wonogiri, Cilacap, Purwokerto, Malang, Madiun, Kediri.

"A total of 88 buses and 2 trucks with a total of 3,500 passengers", said Dudy.

Then on the railway line, there is the Jakarta Gudang-Lempuyangan route. Dudy explained that the number of transportations was 5,300 passengers and 2,320 motorbikes with a free motorbike period (motical) for 10 days.

Meanwhile, on the sea route, there are 100 shipping routes for sea transportation (PP) with a total of 29,972 passengers.
