Thousands Of Bottles Of Alcohol Destroyed By Satpol PP At Monas Cross

A total of 9,712 bottles containing illegal alcoholic beverages were destroyed by the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of DKI Jakarta Province in Silang Monas Tenggara, Central Jakarta, Wednesday morning, December 4.

"There are 9,712 bottles of liquor in the form of alcoholic beverages that were destroyed today and that is the result of our supervision throughout DKI Jakarta Province and thanks to the support of all officers," said DKI Jakarta Provincial Regional Secretary (Sekda) Marullah Matali, ANTARA, Wednesday, December 4.

Marullah explained that the destruction was the result of the decision of the District Court of each region consisting of Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta and the Thousand Islands.

"We also produce this from several sellers who do not have official permits. Then in small neighborhoods, in the community," he said.

If left alone, it will certainly create an unfavorable atmosphere within the community.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Satpol PP, Satriadi Gunawan, also explained that the purpose of carrying out the extermination activity was to provide protection to the public from the dangers of the circulation of illegal alcoholic beverages in the DKI Jakarta area.

"Then ensure and implement law enforcement against the circulation of illegal alcoholic beverages in the DKI Jakarta Province," said Satriadi.

In addition, the destruction of alcoholic beverages is also a commitment of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Satpol PP in an effort to support the DKI Jakarta government towards a global city that is orderly safe and comfortable and sustainable.

Of the 9,712 bottles that were destroyed, they consisted of various brands. The details of the 9,712 alcoholic bottles are the result of the confiscation of 501 bottles of DKI Jakarta Province, Central Jakarta Administrative City (1,096 bottles) and North Jakarta Administrative City (2,786 bottles).

West Jakarta Administrative City as many as 3,055 bottles, South Jakarta Administrative City (1,292 bottles) and East Jakarta Administrative City as many as 1,000 bottles.
