KPPS Lalai, 10 South Tangerang Residents Re-elect At TPS 62 Ciputat

TANGERANG - As many as 10 voters re-voted (PSU) at TPS 62 in Jombang Village, Ciputat, South Tangerang (Tangsel), Tuesday, December 3.

"There are 10 voters who exercise their right to vote," said South Tangerang KPU Commissioner, Ajat Sudrajat when met at the location, Tuesday, December 3.

Ajat explained the reason why the 10 voters re-voted, even though previously in the 2024 Pilkada South Tangerang Wednesday, November 27, they had followed suit. This happened due to negligence from the Voting Committee Group (KPPS) at the TPA 10 place.

"Because the KPPS did not check the ID card, because they did not check, in the end the voter voting at the ballot booth," he said.

He also said that the 10 voters who carried out the PSU today were residents of Jombang and Sawa Baru, Ciputat, South Tangerang, who had a misunderstanding in the voting.

"(Today from-ed) two polling stations in Jombang and Sawah Baru sub-districts," he said.

Previously, the General Election Commission (KPU) of South Tangerang City (Tangsel) would hold a 2024 Pilkada Re-voting (PSU) for the New Object, Pamulang, South Tangerang (Tangsel) area.

This happened because there were voters who voted at the wrong polling station.

"Three people chose to be at TPS 42, but they voted at TPS 41. Then one person should have chosen at TPS 36, instead chose at TPS 41," said the head of the South Tangerang KPU, Muhammad Taufiq Mizan, Thursday, November 28.

Based on these findings, said Taufiq, a re-voting will be carried out at that location.

He also said that Panwascam Pamulang recommended the sub-district election committee (PPK) and a copy to the South Tangerang KPU to conduct PSU at one polling station.

"We have decided to implement the PSU (and) we have coordinated with the South Tangerang Bawaslu," he said.
