Acting Mayor Of Pekanbaru Risnandar Mahiva Netted OTT KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) ensnared state officials in a hand arrest operation (OTT). Deputy Chairman of the KPK Johanis Tanak said the Acting Mayor of Pekanbaru, Risnandar Mahiva, was brought by the team on duty.

"Yes, that's right, the arrest of the Acting Mayor of Pekanbaru," Johanis told reporters in a written statement, Monday night, December 2.

Even so, Johanis admitted that he had not received further information regarding the silent operation. Activities are still ongoing.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron, said the arrests were carried out in Pekanbaru, Riau. He did not specify how many parties were caught in the silent operation.

"The KPK team is still carrying out the examination process for 1x24 hours," said Ghufron.

"Please be patient first, after it is finished, we will convey it to the community," he concluded.
