PDIP Wins Pilkada In 19 Regencies/Cities, Puan: Please Value Central Java Is Still A Banteng Kandang Or Not

PDIP DPP chairman Puan Maharani said the white-nosed bull party won 19 regencies/cities in Central Java (Central Java) in the simultaneous regional elections which were held on November 27, 2024.

"PDIP in Central Java can already win in 19 regions from 35 regencies/cities," said Puan after receiving a report on the results of the 2024 Pilkada at the Central Java PDIP DPD office in Semarang, reported by ANTARA, Monday, December 2.

He said that this success was the result of mutual cooperation between all cadres and the people of Central Java who continued to support PDIP.

Although successful in 19 regions, he continued, PDIP evaluated the results of the Central Java Governor Election (Pilgub) which had not been won.

"Internal evaluation. But we are still enthusiastic even though the gubernatorial election has not succeeded," he said.

In addition to internal evaluations, he continued, the party also conducted external evaluations, such as allegations of fraud or things that were not in accordance with the rules in the field.

"We ask for evidence to be collected and then report it to the authorities," he said.

Puan said with a victory in 19 regencies/cities, the public is welcome to assess whether Central Java is still dubbed a bull cage or not.
