Rizieq Shihab Sprays Prosecutors Who Cut While Talking To Anies: It's My Fate

JAKARTA - Rizieq Shihab was outraged when the public prosecutor (JPU) cut off his chance to ask witnesses. Rizieq Shihab alluded to the violation of health protocols (prokes) that were dragged into the criminal realm.

Rizieq's anger began when questioning governor's regulation (Pergub) Anies Baswedan about the violation of the prokes. However, at that time the prosecutor immediately intercepted him.

"His Holiness's assembly please do not repeat the question," the prosecutor said in a hearing at the East Jakarta District Court, Monday, March 12.

"I ask not to be cut. I'm insisting, don't cut," Rizieq said.

Then Rizieq insinuated that the prosecutor cut his chances of speaking with a sentence about dragging the offense into the criminal realm.

"Why? Because you're offended? Karana you dragged the offense prokes into criminal? If anyone is not offended you don't bother me asking," Rizieq said.

"It concerns my fate, no one is imprisoned. I'm the one in jail. I've been in prison for four months," he continued.

Seeing the unconducive conditions, presiding judge Suparman Nyompa mediated the debate. He asked Rizieq to move on to another question.

"We salute. It's moved again," the judge said.
