Minister Of PPPA Values Children Kill Their Parents In Lebak Bulus, A Good Person

JAKARTA - Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA), Arifah Fauzi believes that MAS, a 14-year-old teenager who is suspected of killing his father and grandmother in Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, is a good child. Arifah said this after she met MAS at the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"We did meet Ananda A (MAS). Yes, it must be sad for me because I am a good boy. Good boy. Don't ask that," said Arifah while holding back tears at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Sunday, December 1, evening.

Arifah also admitted that she was surprised by MAS's personality, which she thought was good, but could take the action.

"We don't know why it happened like this. We'll just have to wait, hopefully this is a moment for all of us to introspect. I'm also learning, oh it turns out that we have this child, it's not as easy as imagined," he said.

Arifah also said that this case is a moment for parents at home or anywhere for introspection.

"This may later become an introspection for all of us, especially families, on how to build communication and parenting in the family," he said.

MAS allegedly killed his father, APW (40) and his grandmother, RM (69) at Bona Indah Housing, Lebak Bulus, Cilandak, South Jakarta, Saturday at 01.00 WIB.

Not only that, he also tried to kill his mother, AP (40). But the mother was saved because the perpetrator attacked not in the deadly part.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Gogo Galesung, said that based on his initial confession, the perpetrator did it because he got a magical whisper.

"Yes, at first he felt he couldn't sleep, then there were things that whispered to him, disturbing him like that," Gogo told reporters at the location, Saturday, November 30.
