JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts the weather for most areas in Indonesia today, Sunday, December 1, 2024, which has the potential for rain.

"In Java, Jakarta is estimated to be thick cloudy. Serang, Bandung, and Yogyakarta have the potential for light rain. Meanwhile, Semarang and Surabaya have the potential for heavy rain accompanied by lightning," said BMKG forecaster Syndhy Pratiwi in a weather forecast broadcast.

In Sumatra, light to moderate rain is predicted in Banda Aceh, Medan, Tanjung Pinang, Pekanbaru, Jambi, Pangkal Pinang, and Palembang.
