JAKARTA - The Cartenz-2024 Peaceful Operation Task Force has successfully arrested a member of the Puncak Jaya armed criminal group (KKB) named Oni Enumbi alias Mamberamo alias Bumiwalo.

The Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peaceful Operation, Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani said that Oni Enumbi was a member of the Puncak Jaya KKB under the leadership of Ternus Enumbi.
Oni Enumbi is on the Puncak Jaya Police Wanted List (DPO) because he was involved in the shooting and murder of Elang Task Force personnel on March 17 in Kulirik Village, Muara District, Puncak Jaya Regency.
Oni Enumbi's arrest was carried out based on DPO/S-34/04/IV/2024/Reskrim dated April 25, 2024 and Police Report number LP/A/03/III/2024/Res Puncak Jaya/Polda Papua, related to the shooting and murder of Elang Task Force personnel.
Rahmadani said that Oni Enumbi had been detained at the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force Post in Mulia, Puncak Jaya Regency and was under intensive examination by investigators.
He added that the examination carried out by investigators was to determine whether Oni Enumbi was involved in other acts of violence carried out by the KKB in Puncak Jaya Regency.
