RK-Suswono Both Didn't Vote in Jakarta, Doel: Lost Two Votes, What a Shame

JAKARTA - The candidate pair for Governor-Vice Governor of Jakarta number 1, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono did not use their voting rights in Jakarta. According to their domicile, RK voted at a polling station (TPS) in Bandung, while Suswono in Bogor.

This was responded to by the candidate for Deputy Governor number 3, Rano Karno (Doel). Doel regretted this. This is because the candidate pair supported by KIM Plus could not vote for themselves in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"It's not for anything, it's a pity that Bang Kamil voted in Bandung, Soeswono voted in Bogor. Those two votes were lost. It's a shame," said Doel after voting at TPS 065 Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta.

However, Doel has also experienced something similar. When he was a candidate for Deputy Regent of Tangerang in the 2008 Pilkada and a candidate for Deputy Governor of Banten in the 2012 Pilkada, Doel could not vote himself because he had a Jakarta ID card.

"That's the reality. Just like when I was in Banten, I had a Jakarta ID card, I couldn't vote in Banten. That's normal," he said.

After voting today, Doel admitted that he and Pramono were asked by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri to check the situation at the 5th Presidential TPS located at TPS 024 Kebagusan, South Jakarta.

"Mrs. Mega asked, 'eh, visit my TPS. Yesterday I campaigned. Check it, how come you can't?' I said, 'ready'. At 11 o'clock the plan is to go to Kebagusan with Mas Pram," said Doel.

After that, Doel and Pramono will gather at the quick count monitoring post for his winning team in JS Luwansa, Kuningan, South Jakarta.

On that occasion, Doel also hoped that he and his deputy candidate Rano Karno could win the Jakarta gubernatorial election in just one round with more than 50 percent of the vote.

"I am very confident, not arrogant. I hope this is one round. Because I calculated, even if this is one round, it is not for Rano Kano, not for Pramono Anung. But for Jakarta," said Doel.
