Motorcyclist Allegedly Robbed In Front Of East Kelapa Gading Gas Station, Jakut

JAKARTA - A man with the initials AS is suspected of being a victim of a robbery in front of the East Kelapa Gading General Fuel Filling Station (SPBU), North Jakarta (Jakut). In this incident, the perpetrator managed to seize the victim's motorbike.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi, confirmed that this incident occurred on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

"It is true that there was a violent theft in front of the Gasoline Pom at Gading Pluit Hospital, East Kelapa Gading, Kelapa Gading," said Ade Ary, Sunday, January 5.

According to Ade Ary's explanation, the victim who was riding with a witness with the initials A was on his way home after work. When they arrived at the scene, they were stopped by a group of perpetrators carrying sharp weapons.

"The perpetrator pointed a sharp weapon at the victim, and injured the victim's left back, and then took his motorbike," said Ade Ary.

As a result of the incident, the victim immediately reported this incident to the North Jakarta Metro Police for further investigation. "Currently the case is being handled by the Jakut Police," concluded Ade Ary.

Police continue to investigate to identify the perpetrators and ensure they are immediately arrested. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of increasing vigilance and security, especially in areas prone to crime.
