JAKARTA - A man named Muhammad Tafsir made a carelessness that made his house almost burn. He burned the garbage in the roof of the house. As a result, the ceiling of Muhammad Tafsir's house caught fire.

Muhammad panicked, he was unable to extinguish the growing fire. The North Jakarta fire department was contacted.

Head of Ops for North Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman, said that after he received a report from Muhammad Tafsir, he immediately headed to the location, on Jalan Lapangan Hijau, Tidung Island, Thousand Islands, North Jakarta, Monday, November 25, 2024.

"It is true that a house fire broke out in the Kelurahan Pulau Tidung, Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta Utara," said Gatot when confirmed, Monday, November 25.

Gatot explained that the incident began when the owner of the house saw the ceiling or the roof of his house which was full of leaves. I don't know what he thought, said Gatot, he burned the garbage on the roof of his house.

"The owner of the house wants to clean up the dried leaves on top of the asbestos tile by burning, approximately 10 minutes the fire spreads to the ceiling of the house," he said.

A total of 8 personnel and one fire department were deployed. The fire was extinguished after half an hour of extinguishing the fire in the house.

"At 10.03 WIB, the blackout started. The end of the blackout was 11.32 WIB," he said.

He ensured that there were no casualties in the incident. However, the loss reached millions of rupiah.
