JAKARTA - The volunteer group Sobat Mas Pram-Bang Doel has declared its support for the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor of Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO).

They even carried out a symbolic action of removing the attributes of candidate pair number 3 during the Satuin Jakarta Grand Concert at Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta on Saturday, November 23, 2024.

"Jakarta needs a leader who is just and Jakarta must advance as a city," said Secretary General of Sobat Mas Pram-Bang Doel, Yahya Ibnu Sabil, at the event.

Yahya ensured that his party was not betraying the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno pair. He claimed that dozens of people who took part in this action were actually looking for a leader who could honor the people of Jakarta.

So, their choice finally fell on candidate pair number 1.

"Therefore, today, I, the secretary general of Sobat Mas Pram-Bang Doel, declare that I support Mr. Ridwan Kamil and Mr. Suswono to become governor and deputy governor of Jakarta," he said.

Yahya claimed that the choice was final. They invited all Jakarta residents to vote for the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono pair.

"On November 27, we will choose number one, November 27, we will choose number one, we will choose number one, we will choose number one," he said.

Seeing this moment, the Head of the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono Winning Team, Ahmad Riza Patria, immediately put on RIDO supporter vests for dozens of volunteers.

He welcomed it and said that the transfer of support was a democratic right of every citizen.

"We welcome together the volunteers who today have switched their support to Bang Ridwan and Mr. Suswono," said Ariza.
