JAKARTA - There was a reduction in the level of availability of COVID-19 patient care beds at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Emergency Hospital today. Currently, the bed used reaches 21.7 percent, so there is 78.3 percent of beds that are not being used.

Head of Information Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I), Marine Colonel Aris Mudian said that as of today, there are 58 people coming out of the Wisma Atlet as COVID-19 isolation patients.

"Inpatients at the Wisma Atlet as many as 1.305 people from 5.994 bed capacity. Initially, there were 1.363 people treated, and today there are 58 people reduced", Aris said in a statement, Monday, April 12.

In all, there are 687 women and 618 men. They underwent isolation in Tower 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital Wisma Atlet.

So, since its insulation on March 23, 2020, until now, RSD COVID-19 Wisma Atlet has been treating. 78.990 coronavirus patients.

"There were 77.685 patients discharged, with 76.816 patients cured, 782 referred to other hospitals, and 87 people dead", he said.

Currently, all isolation patients treated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran are people who have symptoms of COVID-19, both mild and moderate.

Meanwhile, patients with the asymptomatic category will undergo isolation in Wisma Atlet Karantina Pademangan. This hospital is also used as a place of repatriation isolation. Tower 8, 9, and 10 at the Wisma Atlet Pademangan currently have 4.829 inpatients.

"Today there is a reduction of 343 patients undergoing isolation in Wisma Atlet Pademangan. Yesterday, 5.172 people were hospitalized", he concluded.
