Investigating Allegations Of Bribery, The Attorney General's Office Examines Two Surabaya District Court Judges Who Sentenced Ronald Tannur Free

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has examined two judges at the Surabaya District Court who are also suspects in the alleged bribery and gratification case of Ronald Tannur's acquittal. They are Erintuah Damanik and Mangapul.

"Examining the suspects ED and M as judges at the Surabaya District Court," said the Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar, Friday, November 22.

However, it was not conveyed in detail what the investigators examined from the two judges and suspects. Allegedly, it was related to the handover of bribes by Lisa Rachmat so that Ronald Tannur was acquitted.

In a series of examinations that took place on Thursday, November 21, investigators also examined another witness with the initials HSH.

Harli said the witness was the son of Lisa Rachmat who was also a member of Ronald Tannur's Legal Advisory team.

"Examined as a witness for suspects ZR and LR," said Harli.

Previously, investigators also examined the wives of Erintuah Damani and Mangapul. They had the initials RS and MP, on November 19.

For information, Erintuah Damani and Mangapul together with Heru Hanindyo became a panel of judges in the alleged abuse case that led to the murder of Dini Sera Afriyanti.

The three judges are strongly suspected of accepting bribes in order to impose acquittal against Ronald Tannur.
