SOUTH LAMPUNG - Police personnel from the Port Area Sector (KSKP) Bakauheni, South Lampung Police managed to thwart the smuggling of marijuana-type narcotics at the entrance to Bakauheni Port.

After the contents of the cardboard were carried out, an in-depth examination was found the contents of the package in the form of 11 packages of marijuana-type drugs," he said.
According to him, for this failure, his party immediately coordinated with the expedition service to track down the recipients of the package in Tambora, West Jakarta.
"On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, the team managed to identify a man named FP (24) who came to pick up a package at his destination address and immediately arrested the suspect without a fight," he said.
When the police interrogated the FP perpetrator, he admitted that he was ordered by someone named A alias Grandpa, to take the package.
"We are currently investigating the involvement of other networks in this case. The evidence that was successfully secured in the form of 11 packages of marijuana, cardboard, and an iPhone 11 has been secured. The marijuana is estimated to be worth hundreds of millions of rupiah," he said.
For his actions, FP is now being held at the South Lampung Police for further investigation. He was charged with Article 111 paragraph (2) and Article 114 paragraph (2) of Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with the threat of a maximum sentence of life.
