Kuda Kepang Case In Medan, 10 People Become Suspects, One Still Wanted

JAKARTA - Medan Police secured 10 suspects in the case of the alleged dissolution of the braid horse show in Sunggal Subdistrict, Medan City, North Sumatra that ended chaotically.

"In addition to securing the suspects, the police have also seized evidence in the form of video," said Medan Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Riko Sunarko, as reported on Sunday, April 11.

He said that currently 10 people have been detained and have been designated as suspects.

"The 10 suspects are S alias Herianto, S alias Lin, MP, H, ADR, A, KU alias Rendi, IZ alias Dodi, A, and F," he said.

Sunarko said that the police, in this case, Medan Police are still pursuing one more person in the case of kuda kepang namely IB.

In the case of the alleged dissolution of kuda kepang, the police have received two reports namely Number: LP/121/IV/2021/SPKT POLSEK SUNGGAL, dated 07 April 2021 and Number: LP/290/IV/2021/SPKT POLSEK SUNGGAL, dated 07 April 2021.

"The report is already two that we have received," he said.

The Chief of Police explained, the title of the case of the kuda kepang ruckus show has also been done by the Directorate of General Crime Investigation of North Sumatera Police, and the case file that was previously handled by Sunggal Police has now been delegated to the Medan Police Crime Investigation Unit supported by The Sumut Police.
