JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower continues to raise and distribute aid through the East Lombok Work Training Center (BLK) for victims of flash floods and landslides in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
"Since the beginning of the flash flood and landslide disaster there, we have instructed BLK East Lombok to coordinate with local governments and related parties on-site so that logistical assistance is immediately distributed, especially to flood victims who are in remote and difficult to reach," said Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah, as reported by Antara, Monday, 12 April.
Ida through BLK East Lombok has distributed logistical assistance received by the Head of Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of East Flores, Alfonsus Hada Batan, and distributed to several posts at the disaster site in Adonara on Thursday, April 8.

He also handed over logistical assistance to BLK assisted communities such as BLK Yaspensel Community Diocese of Larantuka in Waiwadan Village, Larantuka Subdistrict, East Nusa Tenggara, and received by BLK leaders of Yaspensel Community to be distributed to locations in need.
BLK Yaspensel Community Diocese of Larantuka is also used as a Disaster Response Post in Adonara from the Ministry of Manpower which then the aid is distributed to flood and landslide victims at several points around West Adonara and East Adonara.
"The logistical assistance provided is a manifestation of the Ministry of Manpower's concern for the victims of flash floods and landslides. It is expected that a little help provided by the Ministry of Manpower can ease the burden of the affected communities," said Ida.
