Fast Move Of Gold Theft Case 1.9 Kg Ex-KPK Task Force , Police Began To Examine Witnesses

JAKARTA - Police have begun examining several witnesses in the case of alleged theft of gold by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) task force with the initials IGAS, although there are no suspects.

"Until now, four witnesses have been examined," South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Adjutant Jimmy Christian Samma told VOI on Sunday, April 11.

Of the four witnesses who have been examined, Jimmy has not been able to detail the results. As well as the witnesses examined, he also could not say.

Only confirmed, the process of handling the case continues. Although, until now it is still the investigation stage.

"Still investigation," he explains briefly.

Meanwhile, the KPK task force assumed of gold bullion thieves weighing 1.9 kilograms has been fired. Theft is carried out gradually from January to June 2020.

The KPK Supervisory Board (Dewas) also brought the case into the criminal domain. The theft was reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police.

Although Supervisory Board and KPK officials have conveyed the chronology of the theft, the police have not established IGAS as a suspect. To date, his legal status is still as a witness.
