Jokowi Claims More Than 80 Pilkada Paslons Ask For Support

JAKARTA - The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) claims that there are more than 80 candidate pairs (paslon) from a number of regions who have asked for support to help win the 2024 Pilkada.

Jokowi revealed that the candidate pair asked for support in various forms, ranging from requests for video creation to express support, photos together, to others.

"Yes, there may be more than 80 candidate pairs," Jokowi said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 18.

Jokowi hopes that his support will increase the popularity and electability of candidate pairs. Moreover, the supporters who are supported have also seen how their track record is, how far to understand the existing problems, as well as their commitment to help the community.

"There are many requests for me to come directly to support, but the time is impossible for me to go to all of them," said the Governor of Jakarta for the 2012 2014 period.

Jokowi can only help provide support, both directly and indirectly.

Therefore, Jokowi continued, the rest are the efforts of each candidate pair to try to win the votes of the people in order to win this year's regional elections.

"I myself will vote in Solo," said the former Mayor of Surakarta.
