The Minister Of Social Affairs EMPHASIZED That There Is No Social Assistance Program For Online Gambling

JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Saifullah Yusuf or Gus Ipul emphasized that there is no social assistance program (bansos) for online gamblers.

The Minister of Social Affairs emphasized the importance of the community, especially beneficiaries, to use social assistance according to their designation.

"If we don't have a program for judol (judionline), so I emphasize, there is no program for it. So obviously, what we are working on is the target (bansos) that we have previously programmed," said the Minister of Social Affairs as reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 18.

He emphasized that beneficiaries, both those who receive social assistance and other programs at the Ministry of Social Affairs, should take advantage of assistance according to their designation.

"Because what we provide is the requirements, if it is for school children, yes for school children, if it is for the food of babies or pregnant women, yes for babies and pregnant women, not for others, especially for judol, it is clear that it is not allowed, all of them are lost," he said.

Gus Ipul also emphasized the purpose of his visit to Sukabumi Regency as well as to validate data, as well as evaluate aid programs that have not been on target so far.

"So I am very happy if the companion or person in charge of my visit, the community group, I was taken to the wrong target, so we can evaluate it," he said.

He also emphasized the importance of assistants to submit data on beneficiaries honestly, and sort data so that the assistance distributed can be right on target.

"I ask the assistant, let's start with honesty. Let's open all the data, which places the target have been, and which ones are not the target places, so we choose and choose," he said.
