JAKARTA - The KPK Capim Setyo Budiyanto revealed that there was a sectoral ego at the KPK. According to him, so far the leadership has lacked coordination and communication.

This was conveyed by Setyo during a fit and proper test at Commission III of the DPR, Monday, November 18.

Initially, Setyo explained about the cooperation carried out by the KPK in every deputy activity. According to him, this deputy has carried out many collaborative activities with the Prosecutor's Office and the Police.

"Among other things, providing assistance includes expert assistance, then physical checks, then if there is a difference of opinion in terms of P19, including general coordination, including the delegation of cases, the KPK has also done a lot," said Setyo.

However, continued Setyo, problems often arise because there are things that are non-technical in nature. According to him, many problems do not go well in the field where trivial things are often constrained.

"There is a sectoral ego, then there is less coordination. Actually, this can be resolved when the leadership can communicate. (But) Many times the leadership considers that there is no need to meet," he said.

"Especially the leadership at the KPK level, considering that maybe because the level is too high, they don't want to meet with the Attorney General, they don't want to meet the National Police Chief, feel that what needs to be met is the deputy level," added Setyo.

"Well, this is what often causes problems that end up hampering at the lower level, causing problems that eventually hinder the lower level," he concluded.
