Feasibility Test Of KPK Capim Today, Poengky Indarti Didn't Expect To Get Urut Number 2

JAKARTA - The candidate for KPK leadership, Poengky Indarti, received number two in the fit and proper test at Commission III of the DPR which began today. Poengky admitted that he did not expect to undergo a fit and proper test on the first day.

However, he was still happy because he got material about supervision during the writing of the paper.

"Alhamdulillah, so actually I didn't expect it to be today. But because I got serial number 2, it's already today. And Alhamdulillah, because it can be finished quickly. I ask for prayers from friends, God willing, hopefully, it will run smoothly," said Poengky at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, November 18.

Poengky revealed that he only studied in preparation for the fit test. In addition, also discussing with civil society.

"Continue to get materials from friends, some directly, some online, books like that. Then read about the views of experts, including the leaders of the KPK at that time," said Poengky.

"So I learned through what my media friends had written, then I read from there," he added.

Meanwhile, in writing the paper, Poengky admitted that he received material related to monitoring the KPK's supervision of internal government supervisors so that they were clean and free of corruption.

"I'm happy to get that because actually we want to choose prevention in this way, surveillance continues then if we look at this number, yes, what is it called, from 2004 to 2024 it turns out that there are 167 regional heads who are suspects in corruption cases. Now this is really shocking," said Poengky.

"So we see that internal supervision needs to be improved and the KPK must also focus on this. Monitoring and maintaining so that corruption cases do not occur," he added.
