Kun Wardana Promises To Build A Waste Recycling Center In Every District

JAKARTA - Kun Wardana, the candidate for deputy governor of DKI Jakarta number two (2) promises to build a waste recycling center in each sub-district of this city as a form of support for the concept of the economy of goods after use.

"We have a 'Adab' coaching team and we use the 'Tular Adab Knockout' to cultivate them residents, sorting out organic and inorganic goods. Then this organic item, there will be a recycling center in each sub-district," said Kun in response to waste problems in the third debate of the 2024 DKI Pilkada in Jakarta, Sunday night.

He explained that his party would invite the public, scavengers and recyclers to support the concept of handling the waste.

"And later we will collaborate with the community, scavengers, collectors and recyclers to be able to make (the waste problem) productive things and this can be the income of Jakarta residents," said Kun.

The DKI Jakarta KPU held the third and final debate between the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor in the 2024 DKI Pilkada at the Sultan Hotel, Central Jakarta, Sunday, as quoted by Antara.

The theme raised in the final debate is "City and Climate Change". The problems of flood management, settlement arrangement, and waste management are included in the scope or sub-them of the third debate.

In addition, other sub-themes include reducing emissions and air pollution as well as transitioning renewable energy. Furthermore, the availability of clean water and a habitable city and the arrangement of green open spaces.
