Bahlil Is Considered To Bring Problems To The Internal Golkar Party

JAKARTA The Executive Director of the IPO, Dedi Kurnia Syah, assessed that Bahlil Lahadalia's leadership brought various problems to the internal Golkar Party, starting from the process of being elected to the election of administrators at the DPP level.

"The choice of Bahlil tends to be forced due to certain factors, especially regarding his relationship with Jokowi in the last government, currently Jokowi is no longer in power, it is not impossible that Bahlil will also face internal problems," he said, Sunday, November 17, 2024.

According to him, problems within the Golkar Party seem to show that Bahlil is not fully expected to occupy the chair of chairman. This has the potential to make Golkar continue to experience setbacks whose peak could occur in the 2029 election.

"Testing Golkar's setback, we have to wait for the 2029 election, although the 2024 Pilkada can also be one of the references. However, at this time we can be careful if Bahlil is not fully expected," he explained.

Dedi also saw that Golkar had lost a potential figure after the setback of Airlangga Hartarto as chairman. In fact, the cadres who used to be charismatic were considered to have dimmed, requiring problematic figures to enter the party structure.

He suggested that the Golkar Party should immediately change the management structure to overcome various problems within them. In fact, it is possible that Bahlil Lahadalia will be evicted from the chair of the general chairman if the problem of tackling Golkar continues to grow.

It could be that Bahlil could not survive if in the 2024 Pilkada the Golkar candidates would fall. It is possible that various factions in the internal sector are thinking about solving problems early so they don't fall in the 2029 election," said Dedi.
