The Attorney General's Office (AGO) is examining Meirizka Widjaja, who is a suspect in the bribery and gratification case of Ronald Tannur's acquittal, today.

The examination was carried out after Ronald Tannur's mother was transferred to Jakarta.

"Yes, today is the examination of MW (Meirizka Widjaja)," said Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar to VOI, Thursday, November 14.

However, what Meirizka Widjaja did not convey. It was only mentioned that Ronald Tannur's mother was questioned as a witness for other suspects.

"MW is being examined as a witness for other suspects," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the location of Merizka Widjaja's detention after being transferred from the Surabaya Class 1 detention center at the East Java High Prosecutor's Office, Harli could not convey it. The reason is that the inspection process is still ongoing so investigators have not decided.

"We'll update it later, it's still being investigated," said Harli.

In this case, Meirizka Widjaja is known to play a role as a financier. In addition, Ronald Tannur's mother also had an agreement with Lisa Rachmat, who is Ronald Tannur's legal adviser and a suspect.

Merizka Widjaja has handed over money to Lisa Rachmat so that her child is acquitted of IDR 1.5 billion.
