2 Thief Brankas Filled With IDR 5 Billion And 1 Kg Of Gold In Serpong Tangsel Successfully Arrested

JAKARTA - The police arrested 2 of the 6 perpetrators of the safe break-in containing Rp5 billion in cash and 1 Kilogram (Kg) in Golf Housing, Serpong, South Tangerang (Tangsel).

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the incident occurred last Saturday, October 12.

"The perpetrator who was arrested was AH's brother from Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra (Sumsel). The two suspects are residents of Jasinga, Bogor Regency," Ade Ary told reporters at Polda Metro Jaya, Wednesday, November 13.

Meanwhile, there are 4 other perpetrators who are currently on the People's Wanted List (DPO) status. Now they are looking for the perpetrators.

"Four other people who have been designated as DPOs by the resmob sub-directorate, two of whom act as executors and the other two act as Joki are being hunted and chased by the Resmob Sub-Directorate," he said.

Chronology, witness Assistan Rumah Tangga (ART) saw the safe at the victim's house was missing.

The witness reported to his superiors about the loss of the safe. Then it was followed up to report to the police.

The police, who received the information, immediately conducted an investigation. The two perpetrators can be arrested, while the rest are in pursuit.

In addition to arresting the perpetrators, the police also received evidence of cellphones, eleven Singapore dollar denominations to Rp65 million in cash.

"Then one Evercross cellphone, one motorcycle, broken debris and twelve plastic gold shielding antam," he said.

For their actions, the perpetrators were charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code, and/or Article 480 of the Criminal Code, 363 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with weight and Article 480 of the Criminal Code under article of malicious help or custodian.
