Weather For Cities On Heroes' Day, BMKG Predicts Rain On Sunday Afternoon

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in most areas of the provincial capital will receive light rain on the commemoration of Heroes' Day, Sunday, November 10.

BMKG forecaster Syndhy Indah Pratiwi was quoted by ANTARA as saying that starting from Sumatra, the weather in Banda Aceh City is forecasted to be thick cloudy, while Medan, Padang, and Pekanbaru cities have the potential for light rain.

"The city of Tanjung Pinang is forecasted to rain with moderate intensity," said Syndhy, Sunday morning.

Still in Sumatra, light rain is forecast for Jambi, Bengkulu, Palembang and Lampung cities.

"Be aware of rain that can be accompanied by lightning lightning that has the potential to occur in Pangkal Pinang," he said.

Shifting to Java, light rain is forecast for the cities of Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, and Yogyakarta.

"While the rain is forecast in Serang and Bandung," he said.

Then turning to Bali and Nusa Tenggara, Denpasar City is forecasted to be cloudy, while people in Kupang and Mataram cities are asked to be aware of rain accompanied by lightning or lightning.

Turning to Kalimantan Island, light rain is forecast for Samarinda, Palangkaraya, and Banjarmasin areas, while moderate rain has the potential to occur in Tanjung Selor.

Furthermore, for the Sulawesi region, light rain is forecast for the cities of Gorontalo, Manado, Kendari, Palu, and Makassar.
