TANGERANG - The Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) will bring in a team of experts from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) to examine the cause of the landslide on Jalan Desa Karang Tengah, Pagedangan.

"We will bring in a team of experts from ITB to conduct research, we will also have emergency treatment first so that there will be no more landslides," said Tangerang Regency Spatial Planning and Building Head Hendri Gunawan when confirmed, Wednesday, November 6.

According to him, research is carried out to find out what causes and prevention are so that it does not happen again in the future.

"That will be the expert who can conclude, what is clear is that we will coordinate with BBWS later because this is also their authority regarding the river," he explained.

Regarding the damage caused by the landslide disaster, the Tangerang Regency Government immediately repaired damaged public facilities.

"It will immediately repair public facilities damaged by landslides through the proposed deliberation of the development plan," he said.

Landslides on Karang Tengah Street, Central Kareng Village, Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency cut off a number of road access, Tuesday, November 5, at 17.30 WIB.

Head of BPBD Tangerang Regency, Ujat Sudrajat said there were no casualties and no vehicles were damaged.

"It's safe to control, there are no casualties or vehicle victims," he said.
