Motorcycle Thief In Duren Sawit Battered Blocked By Residents

JAKARTA - A man named Oki was battered by residents because he was caught stealing a motorbike belonging to a resident on Jalan Bojong Rangkong, Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, early Sunday, November 3.

Dozens of residents who were furious at the actions of the perpetrators who were suspected of frequent theft also gave a blow to the man who had a tattoo on his hand.

The incident began when the perpetrator, who knew the victim, planned the sale of the perpetrator's damaged television. The perpetrator named Oki then ordered the victim to sell his television.

Both of them rode the victim's motorbike to sell the television. The perpetrator rode the victim's motorbike. However, when the victim, the motorcycle owner, went to sell the television by leaving his motorbike, it turned out that the perpetrator took the victim's motorbike away.

"Initially I asked for help selling TV, it didn't take long for my motorbike to be taken in the Kranji complex. He himself," Angga told reporters, Sunday, October 3.

After selling the television, the victim returned and realized that his motorbike had been stolen by the perpetrator. The victim and his colleagues also tried to find the whereabouts of his motorbike. Then a few hours later, the perpetrator was found until finally he was beaten by residents.

According to Tomi, a friend of the victim, initially he received a report from a colleague named Angga, who is the owner of the missing motorbike. Angga admitted that his motorbike was stolen by the perpetrator named Oki.

Tomi also searched for the perpetrator until finally the perpetrator was found in his hiding place.

"I was looking for him. Finally he met again sitting and smoking when he was arrested. Then I called my friend whose motorbike was stolen," said Tomi.

The perpetrator was battered in the face. Residents who were furious at the perpetrator's actions continued to arrive and beat the perpetrators.

Luckily, members of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Duren Sawit Police immediately went to the crime scene and arrested the perpetrator. The perpetrator and the victim and the evidence were then taken to the Duren Sawit Police for further processing.
