52 People Investigated Over Pertamina Indramayu Refinery Fire

JAKARTA - Kabareskrim Mabes Polri Komjen Agus Andrianto said it has conducted checks on 52 people related to the fire at Pertamina Balongan Refinery, Indramayu Regency, West Java.

"There have been 52 people who have been clarified and also examined," said Komjen Agus in Indramayu, reported by Antara, Wednesday, April 7.

Kabareskrim said that Pertamina has not yet made a report related to the fire of four tanks in the Pertamina Balongan Refinery area, Indramayu Regency.

To that end, it makes a model A police report or case findings so that the investigation of the fire case can be done immediately.

"We made a model A police report because until now Pertamina has not made a report," he said.

When there were no reports, it could not inspect and conduct a crime scene (crime scene) fire in four tanks.

"Therefore, we make a report of findings with the article of suspicion so far is due to negligence resulting in a fire incident," he said.

The fire of four tanks of Pertamina Balongan Refinery, Indramayu Regency, West Java, occurred on Monday (29/3) morning.

Six people were seriously injured in the incident and hundreds were forced to evacuate.
