JAKARTA - The Palestinian warrior group, Hamas, has asked Israel to take responsibility for the deaths of two Palestinians, including a doctor named Dr. Adnan al-Bursh, who died from torture in Israeli prisons.
In a statement on Thursday (2/5), Hamas said Palestinians kidnapped from Gaza later died from torture in Israeli prisons confirming terrible war crimes and continue against the Palestinian people.
"Israel forcibly took many of our citizens from schools and hospitals to detention centers, including doctors, whose crimes are their humanitarian duty to society," Hamas said.
Hamas demands information about the fate of detained Palestinians and international investigations into Israeli leaders.
Health workers killed in Gaza as a result of Israeli attacks reached 496, including the death of doctor Adnan al-Bursh at Israel's Ofer prison, the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said.

The Palestinian Prisoner Society said two prisoners from the Gaza Strip had died in Israeli prisons.
