Bow Down, These Are 7 Suspects Of Stabbing Santri Krapyak In Prawirotaman Yogyakarta

Yogyakarta City Police arrested seven people suspected of stabbing two students in the Prawirotaman area, Mergangsan, Yogyakarta City, Yogyakarta Special Region.

"We have secured seven people. In its development, if new names appear, we will definitely pursue them," said Yogyakarta Police Chief Kombes Aditya Surya Darma as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 29.

The seven perpetrators each had the initials V (41), N alias E (29), F (27), J (26), Y (23), T (25), and R alias C (43).

According to him, R alias C is the mastermind behind the stabbing and abuse cases, while the others are executors.

Aditya explained that the perpetrators' heinous actions against two students on Wednesday (23/10) night were related to the previous case that occurred on Tuesday (22/10) night in the same area.

He explained that the incident began when a witness named Bimo and his guest hung out at a cafe in the Prawirotaman area, Yogyakarta City on Tuesday (22/10) night.

Then at around 01.30 WIB E came with his friends about 15 people about to enter the same cafe, but it was canceled and switched to a liquor outlet (alcohol), not far from the cafe.

Because he knew E, then Bimo and his guest met E in front of the alcohol outlet, then there was an argument so Bimo experienced persecution.

Then Bimo was pulled by his partner into the cafe, but E and his friends followed him and entered until he damaged the cafe.

"The riots used machetes and empty hands which damaged four chairs, one broken table glass and one laptop unit were damaged," he said.

Seeing Bimo being beaten, his colleague then tried to intervene but was actually mistreated, resulting in bruises on his right and left hands, then they reported it to the police.

Next, on Wednesday (23/10) night, continued Aditya, a figure of R alias C appeared who planned an action of revenge against Bimo.

R gathered a number of people at the cafe by preparing liquor and after getting drunk they were provoked to make trouble.

At around 21.20 WIB, there were two students from the Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School, Krapyak were buying satay across from the cafe.

But unfortunately, the two students who did not know anything about the incident became the target of the tantrums of the gang of troublemakers.

"The victim was beaten by a group of unknown people using blunt objects in the form of wooden blocks, helmets, and beatings using his bare hands and kicking the victim by saying 'this is the person, this is the person' and some sound 'kill'," Aditya explained.

The victim with the initials MA (23) suffered bruises on the head and the bones of his right thumb were broken, while the victim SF (19) suffered a stab wound suspected of being a knife.

"The victim was able to save himself assisted by the surrounding community to be taken to the Pratama Hospital for further treatment," he said.

The police secured a number of evidences, including a damaged rattan seat, several broken glass glass, a laptop, wooden blocks, helmet glass, and an iron seat.

"We are still investigating whether this is a spontaneous influence after they drink or maybe we are still investigating other motives," said Aditya.

The seven people who have been named as suspects are charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code and/or 351 of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of five years.
