Minister Of State Secretary Prasetyo Calls Cabinet Members So Use Maung Official Cars

JAKARTA - Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said cabinet members were using the Maung official car made by PT Pindad (Persero). The spirit that President Prabowo wants to encourage is that Indonesia must have its own homemade car.

"So, the spirit is that we have to have our own car," said Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, October 29.

Prasetyo said there had been no decision on which government officials would use the maung official car. According to him, it also adjusts to the production capacity.

"Just pray that Pindad can immediately produce good quality," said Prasetyo.

As for him, he said that Maung's official car would use a purchase scheme, not a rental scheme, so that the official vehicle would become a state investment. As for the old official minister's vehicle that has been used at this time, we will think about it later.

"Yes, later. As soon as there is, we will think about what the old car will be like," he explained.

Previously, President Director of PT Pindad (Persero) Abraham Mose said that his party was able to produce Maung to be used as an operational vehicle for ministers in accordance with Presidential Instruction Prabowo Subianto.

"We have to be able because of the facilities, support infrastructure will definitely be prepared. In principle, Pindad has started and the results are already available and used," Mose said when confirmed in Jakarta, Monday.

Mose has not explained how many Maung units his party has prepared to be used by the ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, Prabowo-Gibran.

Deputy Minister of Finance Anggito Abimanyu said President Prabowo Subianto would facilitate ministers to all echelon 1 officials in the current government era in a Maung car made by PT Pindad (Persero) as an official vehicle.

This was conveyed by Anggito at the 15th Anniversary and Lustrum III of Gadjah Mada University Vocational School (UGM) in UGM, Sleman, Yogyakarta DI, Monday (28/10).

"Next week I will use Maung's car, the Pindad car," said Anggito.
