PK Session Jessica Wongso Cyanide Coffee Case Again Held Today

JAKARTA - Jessica Kumala Wongso's judicial review (PK) application hearing regarding the murder case of Wayan Mirna Salihin was held again today, Tuesday, October 29.

The PK trial was known to have been postponed because Jessica Kumala Wongso as the applicant had not yet presented a witness for the novum to be sworn in.

"Because we are only carrying out the formality, proving the material of the Supreme Court. We will postpone it on Tuesday 29 (October) while completing the incomplete," said Chief Justice Zulkifli Atjo on Monday, October 21.

The decision to postpone the previous trial was also because there had to be an oath first from the party who found the new novum, before the PK memory was read out.

This is also in line with the request from the Public Prosecutor (JPU) regarding the oath that must be carried out by the new novum.

"If there is a novum, it must be sworn in first," said Judge Atjo.

For information, Jessica Kumala Wongso officially submitted a PK on October 9. The application was registered with file number No.7/Akta.Pid.B/2024/PN.Jkt.Pst.
