Iraq denounced Israel's use of its airspace to attack Iran in a letter of protest to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the UN Security Council on Monday.
Government spokesman Bassim Alawadi said in a statement the letter denounced "an open violation of the Zionist entity against Iraqi airspace and sovereignty, by using it to carry out an attack on Iran on October 26," quoted from Daily Sabah Oct. 28.
Alawadi said Iraq's Foreign Ministry would also stage "this violation" in talks with the United States, Israel's close allies and major weapons providers.
